What's QuickFileType ?

QuickFileType is an application to quickly edit or view creator codes and type codes of files. In Mac OS X 10.5 or before, applying creator code and type code allow you to change the application which the file is opened by when the file is double clicked in Finder. In Mac OS X 10.6 or later, creator code will be ignored always.

QuickFileType have following features to quickly edit a creator code and a type code.

• You can change creator codes and file types of selected files in Finder when QuickFileType is launched.
• You can regist favorite sets of a creator code and a type code.
• QuickFileType can change multiple files at once.
• QuickFileType remember change history and you can choose it from popup menu.
• When the file is cofigured to ignore creator codes, QuckFileType can renable creator codes.
